Linda Egli completed her Master's studies in Munich (Prof. Ingolf Turban) and Amsterdam (Peter Brunt) in 2022 in Zurich (Anna Gebert) with distinction and the Werner and Berti Alter Prize for the best degree in her field.

 

She earned her Bachelor's degree in Lucerne (under Prof. Sebastian Hamann) and attended masterclasses with, among others, Zakhar Bron, Ivry Gitlis, and Heinrich Schiff. She has also pursued further training in Baroque violin (Monika Baer/Antoinette Lohmann) and improvisation (Tim Kliphuis). Egli's active concert schedule has taken her throughout much of Europe, Asia, and South Africa, as well as to chamber music performances at renowned festivals (such as the Lucerne Festival and the Cello Biennale Amsterdam). She is a member of the City Light Symphony Orchestra and a frequent guest musician with other orchestras in Switzerland, Germany, Liechtenstein, and the Netherlands. A versatile chamber musician, she performs with her Tango Nuevo Ensemble PantaLeón Project and the Duo Arna. Her work includes live broadcasts on Swiss Radio SRF2 and collaborations with composers such as Heinz Holliger, Unsuk Chin, Willem Jeths, and Jacob ter Veldhuis.
